There weren't any races
taking place at the Woodbine racetrack last week but Sunwing's Product
Presentation still had the 500 travel agents in attendance hooting and
hollering.

50 suppliers; new products; buffet dinner and prizes… what a way to launch into a 30 city tour. Toronto was the 3rd
stop on their spring tour kicking off Sunwing's 2015-2016 winter season and
focusing on what's new, what's different and what's still to come.

“Tonight is our winter showcase for next year," Deana
Murphy, V.P., Retail Sales, Sunwing, said. “We don't have any new destinations
but we have a ton of new products. Many of our hotel partners have opened new
hotels recently, like the Royalton Riviera in Cancun, or are going to be
opening new ones like the Blue Diamond in Negril and this is our 1st opportunity
to tell travel agents about them."

Along with new hotel openings, the operator is adding 3 new 737's to their
fleet allowing for heaps of new connections between Canadian gateways and the
south including Kelowna to Varadero; Windsor to Cancun; Kitchener/Waterloo to
Cayo Santa Maria and Thunder Bay to Cancun.

“I recently went to Seattle
and picked up our new Boeing 737," Murphy said. “It was one of the coolest
things I've done in my career. Getting on a brand new plane was a great
experience. We're taking possession of 2 more aircraft from Boeing this month.
They will be based in Toronto but will be shipped out all over depending on
where we need them."

Even though the presentation centred on Sunwing's
winter program, Murphy reminded agents that their summer packages are open for bookings as
well, including their Montreal-Paris and Toronto-Amsterdam routes.

YUL-ORY
service begins 11MAY with 3 flights per week
increasing to 6 during peak season. The
service will be operated in partnership with TUI's
Corsair
onboard either A330s or 747s.

YYZ-AMS will be operated twice a week 27JUN through 02SEP
with Thomson Airways 787s.

“We are reminding agents that we still allow 20 kilos of free baggage, we offer
free food and beverage onboard all of our flights and we still pay full
commission on domestic flights and on all of our products," Murphy said. “We
appreciate our agents and this is an amazing opportunity for us to thank them
for supporting the business."
