Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Is It 2014 Yet?

Well, Pumpkins, 2013 has packed up and left along with the relatives. Thankfully. The year was starting to smell like the leftover herring.

Was it a good one? Not as momentous as the millennium, but just as eventful for itravel. And MyTravel - aka Thomas Cook. Matter of fact, we've pretty much tossed out all the Brits -- not unlike the herring, dahrlings. Except for Sunwing which is still monetarily involved with First Choice. But that's a whole other kettle of fish.

Now that we are having a proper January - cold, slushy, icy, windy - pesky consumers are climbing out of the woodwork wanting to know where there's a good deal. Honestly, do I look like I work for free? My dry cleaner even checks out my clothes: "Oh Mrs. Gabbalot, I see you have brought your cruise wear. Is that what's hot these days?" Make an appointment, Mr. Nosy Nose.

Where were these eager beavers when all the EBB's were on?
