Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Was It An Inside Job?

Sometimes, dahrlings, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a scheming gaggle of company directors. Sometimes it’s a duck. The itravel2000 saga, as it will be referred to until the next millennium, has all the makings of a zesty orchestrated inside coup.

Applications made to TICO months before pulling the plug on Travelzest; buying itravel minutes later; chopping severances. It all smells like a bit of goose poop, in my opinion. But then again, I’m no expert on fiduciary responsibility, Pumpkins.

All I know is that if one of my ex’s pulled my alimony while the ink was still wet on the divorce papers, I’d have cooked his foie gras for breakfast. His liver too. If only the empty handed shareholders group trying to take the business to court in the UK, didn't come off like such a bunch of yahoos. Don't get me wrong, I sympathize with their lot, dahrlings. It's a filthy business no matter which end you look at. But I don't give much for their chances -- I'm sure the directors knew enough to spend their few remaining shares on prophylactic lawyering before screwing the shareholders.
