Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Fiddle Faddling Your Percentage

I love expense reports, don’t you, dahrlings? Who amongst us has not been tempted to slip that extra Timmies onto one? Perhaps even an extra house?

It’s really no wonder highly paid feds are squabbling over hundreds of thousands of dollars in expense perks. (Which, incidentally, are funded from that juicy 5% or 8% or 12% you struggle to earn.) I would be outraged if someone tried to deprive me of that kind of padding.

After a few months, it gets so you wonder if our upper and lower houses shouldn’t be using paid time to build better schools or something. Pfft. I can’t believe I just said that.

Speaking of fiddle faddling the books, does it strike anyone funny that ACTA is indignant about one cruise line while being paid by another? I do love their message to Carnival that NCF’s are out of step with basic common sense judgment of reasonableness – plainly speaking. However, ACTA’s budget is partially funded by Regent advertising. Some would call that an expense worth investigating - since Regent introduced NCF's last September.
