Riu is opening a pair of resorts on the Caribbean coast of Mexico this year, including the new Riu Latino in Costa Mujeres and the Riu Palace Kukulcan in Cancun. At the time of writing, the company has not yet revealed the size, amenities, or additional details for either properties. However, Riu has also announced plans for another property in Mexico, with a renovation scheduled at the Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos this year.
