Silver Explorer to Sail for New Cruise Line Exploris From 2023

The oldest ship in Silversea’s fleet, the Silver Explorer, will be leaving the company in SEP 2023 as it heads to a new cruise line named Exploris. A spokesperson for Exploris confirmed that the vessel will start sailing for the cruise line in DEC 2023. Built in 1989, Silver Explorer was Silversea’s first ice-class ship, and began offering expedition experiences around the world for the cruise line in 2008. In 2019, the 132-passenger ship made Silversea history when it became its first ship to transit the Northeast Passage.
