Vaccination Is No Longer Enough—a Booster Is Now a Must in These European Countries

The EU has recently revised its rules to state that vaccine certifications would only be valid for 270 days (about 9 months) unless they have been renewed with a booster shot, and member countries have changed their own policies as a result. As of 15FEB, France will require a booster dose for entry if at least four months have passed since completing the initial vaccination. Greece will also admit travellers if their final vaccination dose occurred within the past seven months, otherwise travellers must have their booster dose. Spain is following the EU’s guidance to limit the validity of vaccination passes to nine months, unless the traveller had their booster shot.
