Fans test out their putting skills on the Celebrity putting green

Dawn Barbieri, CTC CWT Manager at the 1248 Yonge St. office promotes Celebrity to some enthusiastic Argo fans

As part of Celebrity Cruises' Intensification Plan for the GTA market, they are increasing their presence and brand awareness with participation at a number of popular events. Events like the recent annual Joe Carter Classic Golf Tournament which benefitted the Children’s Aid Society.

Celebrity has also partnerred with the Toronto Argonauts as one of their Premier Sponsors for the season and kicked off their related promos and activities by hosting some of their top agent partners to a perfect summer night out at the Rogers Centre in a deluxe box. Well... it was almost perfect. The Argos showed great promise in the 1st 1/4 but tailed off in the 2nd and 3rd when those pesky Roughriders rode rough shod all over our double blues. Their 4th quarter rally wasn’t quite enough to pull out a victory and the game ended in a 39-28 loss for the home team.

Throughout the evening, Celebrity was featured on the jumbotron, with huge signage in the stands and on the electronic band that rings the entire stadium. Celebrity also hosted a stand on the concourse level where fans were invited to try out their putting skills as well as learn more about the Argo Fan cruise in February being promoted by Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
