I Do Love A Gal With A Plan

It’s almost spring, Pumpkins. A time of renewal. Resurrection. Bunnies. And, with it, the mystery of the Thomas Cook rebirth need not confound us much longer. Come March 13th, 2 days before the fated ides of March, all will be revealed.

Bless that dear Harriet for being right on target with her announcement about an announcement. Last July, when she took the helm of a ship in need of a woman’s immaculation, she said she’d get back to us in spring with a plan. And spring it is.

(I do hope TCook Canada didn’t mess with the worldwide revelation plan by announcing its Fun Sun rebirth ahead of sched. Truth is, there was talk. And the packages were starting to show. I think they had no choice but to come out with it.)

And could that putrid ship have reached port any sooner? Our industry has managed to create an association between a cruise holiday and toilets. If this causes sales to tank again, I’ll be having a word with Micky Arison myself. We need a chick over at Carnival Corp. Women know how to put the lid down on such things.
