Virgin Voyages' second ship, Valiant Lady, launched in London on 11MAR before heading to Portsmouth, England to begin its inaugural voyage from on 18MAR for a three-night itinerary with an extended call in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
“It was incredible to launch Virgin Voyages last year, so welcoming our second ship, Valiant Lady, here in the UK less than a year later is a very special moment for the entire Virgin Voyages family,” said Tom McAlpin, CEO of Virgin Voyages.
Continuing its inaugural season, Valiant Lady will be offering additional itineraries to Northern Europe and the Canaries from the U.K., according to Cruise Industry News. From MAY, Valiant Lady will reposition to its new homeport in Barcelona to offer late-night and overnight stays in Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, the Canary Islands, Lisbon, Belgium and Ibiza.
Meanwhile, Virgin Voyages’ third ship, Resilient Lady, will make its way down to Australia in 2023, passing through destinations such as Athens, Dubai and Singapore along the way.
