And I’m not referring to Toronto Mayor Ford’s lunch bag –
No Pumpkins, I’m talking about plane loads. Is there a Canadian carrier not reporting a record one for months now? And they seem very pleased with themselves about all the crowding I’m now subjected to. I have to wait at gates full of other people. And I can’t remember the last time I flew with an empty seat next to me.
(Last week I tried slipping the head waiter a fiver for a window seat and he glowered at me. Touchy. How was I supposed to know he’s the Captain?)
Apparently it’s all the new nanotechnology that counts seats really well. The payload guys can calibrate fare brackets and juice demand with a swipe of their iphone4’s.
I figured I could use some extra demand so I got myself a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone slash computer slash GDS tracking device and recorder. I think it also makes coffee. Not so good crushing ice though. I’ve been waiting for the demand to start pouring in but I think the ringer’s broken.
Can’t wait to see what the launch of the new iphone5 is going to do to revenue management.
