Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Don't Mess With My Pumpkins

Trust me, dahrlings, never say that in a bar. I bellowed something along those lines during conference happy hour, and some smart-aleck shouted, “Hey boob job! They may be big but don’t flatter yourself." Civilians.

The point is, dear suppliers, never underestimate a travel agent. You risk exposing yourself to the perils of being tweaked. Suggestions will be made. Comments generated. These people know their stuff.

Azamara’s Edie Borenstein recently took agents to task for not selling enough Azamara Club Cruises. Edie, baby, I get it. Sometimes we are a little dense. In fact, last night I was so densely packed with Goose I was practically impenetrable. But perhaps the question to ask is why? And a couple of you provided a few well appointed answers.

Pumpkins also didn’t miss a beat in the 1st episode of dame Jill Wykes’ revealing commentary on the complex and inherently flawed nature of suppliers owning serfs. I mean, travel agents.

I've also noticed that sexual innuendo will occasionally get a rise out of you. Say no more.

Notes from the grapevine: Ramon Jacinto is no longer with WestJet. And in case you missed the news, Phil Sproul is President of Kensington Tours, running all of North America. Paul Dorgan, not so much ... Flemming Friisdahl is VP of Contac's mywurld. No news on bro Michael. Yet.
