Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Goin' Mobile!

Just as you start getting comfortable with the infernal e-volution … a new volution comes along. (Between us Pumpkins, I’m getting a little tired of revolutions. They’re all like cute berets & babushkas until someone’s head is cut off.)

With the mobi-volution, you park your computer at the office and go mobile! It’s all Apps and downs now -- especially for travel. (You see the connection here – Travel. Mobile.) Bookings through smartphones have doubled in the past year.

St. Pete Townsend prophesized the phenomenon back in 20 B.C. [Before Cellular]. How could The Who know the what’s what, back in 1971? I should listen to Tommy again. Backwards maybe. You never know…

Lord knows, if I’d had a smartphone 30 years ago I wouldn’t have married so many dumb husbands. It’s the perfect companion. You always have company for dinner – just look at how people click away during meals. No one cares one bit if other people are at the table or not. Smartphones also do fabulous things like display the alignment of the stars in Minsk at 3:00am. You can even book travel. And they vibrate. (So much less conspicuous than packing a humming baton through security). Goin’ Mobile!
