Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has announced its entry into the luxury hotel management segment with its flagship the rebranded, renovated property Cayo Levantado Resort. Currently open for reservations, the resort will be open to guests beginning 01JUN 2023.

The resort is located on the island of Cayo Levantado, a few miles away from Samaná Bay. The island is made up of three sandy beaches, one being open to the public and two that are exclusively for guests staying at the property.
The resort's services will be offered via its ‘A Rhythm All Its Own’ concept that is based on three pillars:
• Local Culture: Local interior designers, architects and professionals took part in the development of the area by integrating local culture in all areas, including gastronomy and mixology.
• Sustainability: Waste management strategies and renewable energy through a biodigester will be implemented, making this a self-sufficient property. In addition, gardening, and landscaping with native species of the island will be used.

The resort has two swimming pools, two spas (including a jungle spa), an outdoor CrossFit area, a beach club, a personal training studio, a beauty salon, botanic garden, entertainment activities and an area focused on wellness. There are three à la carte restaurants, one buffet restaurant, four bars and a coffee shop. Two additional specialty restaurants offer dining options outside the all-inclusive fare.
