Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

It's A Royal Getaway

I’m not so sure how I feel about the whole Will & Kate thing, Pumpkins. There’s really nothing regal about a pair of twenty somethings who barely jumped out from under a chicken’s tail. I’m thinking I’ll forego the curtsy and just fist bump them.

Honestly – when you think of a Queen, do you imagine a young flashy homosexual? Or do you picture a well-cured, slightly saggy, swishy showman? No contest.

Royalty is earned.

Which was clearly the case when Toronto industry types banded together to watch travel Queens Jill Wykes and Dina Bertolo hang up their ticket jackets, for good. There was a definite smell of reverence in the room -- although it could have been the wine everyone was swilling like it was free … oh, it was. Anyhow, the question on everyone’s lips is how long will it take before they hang a ‘consultant’ shingle on their front door? Don’t do it ladies! Run! Be free!

Really. You gotta go cold turkey or you’ll never get away.
