Lindblad Announces Visiting Scientist Program for 2023

Lindblad Expeditions has announced a visiting scientist program for its 2023 Antarctica and Southern Ocean season, which will see researchers onboard select sailings.

Cruise Industry News reports the National Geographic Endurance and National Geographic Resolution will serve as the home bases for more than 23 visiting scientists on 14 of the 19 annual visits to this region. Scientists will be working on select projects, including studying killer whales onboard the National Geographic Endurance, monitoring penguin colonies on the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands, collecting whale observation surveys, collecting oceanographic data and more.
