The new Crystal Cruises is launching summer 2023, with a new name, web site and inaugural voyages for Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. The cruise line’s new tagline is “Crystal: Exceptional at Sea,” and the new name is simply Crystal.
Crystal President Jack Anderson told Seatrade Cruise News both ships will have enlarged accommodations and reduced occupancy as part of the new ownership’s vision to focus on spaciousness, service and quality entertainment. Crystal Serenity will resume service 31JUL with a 12-night Marseille to Lisbon cruise, and Crystal Symphony is scheduled to return on 01SEP with a seven-night Athens to Istanbul sailing. Serenity will then operate in Northern Europe, Iceland, Canada/New England and the Caribbean before positioning in the U.S. for a 2024 world cruise. Symphony will sail in the Mediterranean, then reposition for Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand cruises.
