Effective 01FEB, TICO is reducing the required rewrite wait times for the Travel Counsellor and Supervisor/Manager exams.
New exam rewrite wait times (if first exam attempt is unsuccessful):
- First exam rewrite – 24-hour waiting period after receiving results.
- Second exam rewrite – 5-day waiting period after receiving results.
- Third and any subsequent exam rewrites – 30-day waiting period for each attempt after receiving results.
Previous exam rewrite wait times (if first exam attempt is unsuccessful):
- First exam rewrite – 14-day waiting period after receiving results.
- Second and any subsequent exam rewrites – 30-day waiting period for each attempt after receiving results.
Note: Individuals receive their results 2-3 days after completing their exam, following a verification and overall compliance review of the exam process.
