Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

Recognizing A Slut

Everybody’s rallying and marching and chanting, dahrlings. I love it. Canadian sluts. American CVB’s. Not necessarily together – although there’s probably a marketing idea right there. Point is, dahrlings, their motivations are the same. They both want recognition. Which I totally understand.

Holy promiscuity, Pumpkins, things were so much easier back in my day. We didn’t have to carry placards and march down Main Street for folks to know we were sluts. In fact, I was barely on the bottle when my slutdom was apparent. Kids nowadays seem so confused.

The CVB’s are really onto something, though. Travel and tourism types across 50 American cities marched against oppression this past Tuesday. Hear. Hear. The brave souls in places like Albany chanted “Travel and tourism is a $172 million industry for Albany, providing more than 2,000 jobs and generating $38.8 million in payrolls and an additional $5.35 million in local tax revenue.”

Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, ignored naysayers and told the world: “Travel is a force in America’s economy that is simply too important to be ignored”.

Dear lord, Pumpkins, the ignorance has to stop! Where is our travel solidarity? You can wait for your slutty ass.’s till the cows come home. I say we take it to streets! Travel Power for all! Who’s with me?
