Some Turkish Airports Closed Following Earthquake

With reports of over 5000 deaths and rising, the earthquake that struck Turkey, along with continuing aftershocks, has also damaged a number of airports, interrupting flights, including essential aid arrivals.

SimpleFlying reports on 06FEB that currently, three airports in the southern regions of Turkey have ceased operations due to damage, including Adana Sakirpasa Airport (ADA) in the province of Adana, Hatay Airport (HTY) and nearby Gaziantep Oğuzeli International Airport (GZT).
