Over two different weekends in JAN 2023, sales teams for both Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations convened for their respective meetings in Jamaica, marking the first time since 2020 that their entire sales teams came together for in-person strategy and planning sessions. During this time, both sales teams made separate donations to The Sandals Foundations.

The two groups were hosted at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay. Maureen Barnes-Smith, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Unique Vacations Canada (affiliate of worldwide representatives of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts), commented: “The chance to host the full complement of sales teams from both Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations at Sandals was something that I simply could not pass up. I’m confident that our partnership has become even stronger following these extremely productive meetings in Jamaica.”

The Air Canada sales team held their meetings between 20-23JAN, hosted by Lorna Richards, National Training Manager, Unique Vacations Canada. The group, which included Tracey Bellamy, Director of Canada Sales & Global Accounts, Air Canada and Edna Ray, Senior Manager, Regional Sales, Air Canada, participated in Sandals presentations, toured the flagship Sandals Montego Bay and also conducted their own internal meetings.

Air Canada sales team donated "much-needed items" to The Sandals Foundation, specifically geared towards helping teenage mothers on the island.

The group, including all Outside and Inside Sales team members, was hosted by Maureen Barnes-Smith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Canada, Unique Vacations Canada. Over the course of their meetings, the ACV sales team conducted tours of both Sandals resorts in Montego Bay and participated in a presentation from Gary C. Sadler, Executive Vice President, Sales & Industry Relations, Unique Vacations Inc.

ACV also made donations to the Sandals Foundation through the Pack for a Purpose program.
