India Drops Pre-Departure Testing Requirement For Several Countries Including China

As of 13FEB, India has dropped mandatory pre-departure testing requirements for all pax coming from or through China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan.

According to India’s travel health portal, the measures were relaxed due to a “decline in coronavirus cases.” As reported by Simple Flying, prior to China’s reopening in JAN, India had previously reinstated measures requiring a negative test for all travellers coming from these countries as of 01JAN 2023. India continues random testing practices on all arriving international passengers.
