Korean Air's A380

I imagine Korean Air’s Doug Vogl must wake up every morning wondering what he’s doing living in Canada. His passion for Asian languages, culture and peoples confirms the theory of reincarnation.

Fortunately, the airline vet is back in his comfort zone as Passenger Sales Manager for Korean Air’s Toronto office. And just in time to handle the growth opportunity afforded by a significant change in the carrier’s Toronto summer sched. Daily flights to Seoul began on March 27th at noon creating a buffet of connections to all of Asia – from the Philippines to Borneo.

News of the schedule improvements was delivered at a Richmond Ontario Mandarin where Korean Air’s Danny Tse regaled the industry audience with the many benefits of leveraging the Chinese belief in the lucky number 8 – which apparently accounts for connections to 118 cities and seating 28 in Korean Air’s Prestige Sleeper Business Class. It also makes the carrier’s recent introduction of Airbus A380 service particularly auspicious.
