Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

The Cavalry Is Coming!

Yee Haw, Pumpkins! I never thought the words “no fly” would give me goose bumps. The UN is finally sending troops to Libya. My digits are crossed, dahrlings. When my husband tried declaring a ‘no buy’ zone around Bay & Bloor, guess what? I totally didn’t care. With any luck, Ga-Gaddafi will be more reasonable (could that man use a haircut or what?).

I love the rush of a well penned plan. Even misguided ones feel like pure genius for that one glorious moment when you announce “Mission Accomplished” to the world. And then there are the really really stupid ones. I ask you dear Pumpkins, does an association which you pay to purportedly represent you, fight for you, and speak for you have the mandate to sell its body non-politique on your behalf? I will admit that on some level anyone in business has prostrated themselves to make a buck (You don’t want to know the shenanigans on a certain pink casting couch after hours. Nasty business.) – but, at least it’s only one member getting screwed at a time.

And if you don’t know what I’m talking about – you should. Power hungry bozos aren’t only in Libya.
