For the first time ever, visitors to the Pantheon in Rome will have to pay an entrance fee. According to Travel Weekly, the Italian government will impose a €5 fee on the ancient Roman temple and church, which receives millions of visitors each year.
The Pantheon will remain free for Rome’s residents, minors, mass attendees, and basilica personnel. An implementation date has not been announced and the tourist attraction remains free for the time being.
