The deadline is approaching for Travel Industry Act registrants to provide travel vouchers or future travel credits for travel disrupted by the pandemic. Regulatory changes were made to the Act at the start of the pandemic to account for the unprecedented disruption. Registrants’ option to provide travel vouchers or credit rather than a cash refund expires 01APR. On 01APR, registrants’ obligations to travellers with disrupted travel will revert to pre-pandemic rules.
