Half Of People ‘More Likely’ to Book With Travel Firms Prioritising Green Options

Almost half of all travellers are more likely to book with organizations focussing on environmentally-friendly travel, according to a poll by Audley Travel. Around 32 per cent of the 3,369 respondents said they are willing to pay more to travel sustainably and about half said they want to learn more about sustainable travel. Additionally, 35 per cent of respondents said they plan to upgrade their travel from their current comfort level and 41 per cent said they plan to spend more on travel than normal and to travel more than usual.

The Audley poll was conducted in DEC with respondents who have travelled, booked, inquired, or expressed interest in trips with Audley. Audley Travel is a U.K.-based tour operator that offers tours in over 90 destinations worldwide.
