Holland America Line has partnered with The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation to host an exhibit at Ellis Island about the journey many immigrants took travelling to the U.S.

For many immigrants on Holland America Line ships at the turn of the century, the Statue of Liberty was their first glimpse of their new home.  The new exhibit provides a sense of that experience for visitors today.

It details the line's involvement in bringing one in 10 immigrants from Europe to the United States. The exhibit includes passenger manifests, historical photos, past ship information, classic Holland America Line posters, and Dutch-themed memorabilia.

The exhibit is in celebration of Holland America's 150th anniversary and is open through early MAY 2023.
