The Spanish government is extending a popular program which makes commuter and medium-range regional trains free for the rest of the year. The government launched the program in SEPT, 2022 to combat inflation.
The program is available to tourists as well as residents, who can travel between cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville for free. Not all trains, including some high-speed trains, are participating in the program.
