Disruptions to travel in France hit again 06APR with transport workers walking off the job once more, following weeks of strikes over the government’s pension reforms. Civil aviation regulator DGAC has asked carriers to reduce flight arrivals by 20 to 25 per cent at some French airports.
Air France says it plans to operate all long-range flights to and from CDG and around 80 per cent of flights to and from domestic airports. Other airlines have said they need to adjust their schedules. Eurostar says it can run all its trains except for two between London and Paris, and SNCF says some train lines will be disrupted by the Thursday strike.
