The City of Ottawa has voted against providing a $3.7-million tax break for a proposed airport hotel, according to Capital Current.
Canadian-owned Germain Hotels is planning to build a new 180-room hotel at YOW and has been seeking up to $13-million in tax breaks from the city. Council supports the building of the hotel, but will not provide a tax break.
