Excuse me, dahrlings, but...

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Travel

The Christmas Spirit is grabbing hold of my eggnog and jingling in news of dancing fairies and nut crackers. (Doesn’t that just describe travel all over?)

All 3 of our big 3 are fabulously festive this week, Pumpkins.

TUI has been out Christmas shopping for its shareholders. But all those rumours of their interest in buying Travelzest unfortunately dropped their share price just a teensy bit. You just can’t hide presents well enough from nosy journalists. Not to worry, dahrlings, there could still be a surprise under the tree for little Jonathan come Christmas morning.

Transat’s already loaded with sugar plums and pear trees and French hens. With over 50 million in profit for 2010, Jean Marc should be in a jolly old mood. (JM, I’m aware of your Polish penchant, dahrling, and as I’m sure I’ve had a bit of pole in me at one time or another – the 5 golden rings would be welcome.)

With all this merry news, a little bit of scrooging is needed for balance – don’t you think, dahrlings? Otherwise, there’s no soul to redeem. No one to hiss at. Fear not, my little lumps of coal, TCook has graciously accepted to be featured on the naughty list by retiring a few positions one week before Christmas.

All that misery always leads to a good goosing. So rejoice for the magic of travel! It giveth and it taketh away.

Bah humbug.
