With an increasing number of people wanting to travel with their four-legged companions, hotels and resorts are adapting to cater to their needs, according to The New York Times.

Many inns have long welcomed pets, but now major hotel companies, such as Marriott, Hilton and Kimpton, are rolling out or expanding their programs to provide amenities for pets, including dog beds, toys, and specialized pet menus. Some hotels are even incorporating pet-centric services like grooming and dog walking.
