Total Vacations staffers surrounded by firefighters
The travel industry is forever putting out fires, so to keep things under control at their Toronto launch, Total Vacations invited the Fire Department. To the delight of many travel agents, they doused the event with plenty of testosterone and some rather intricate muscle flexing.
Total Vacations – with more direct contracts than any other Canadian operator - showed a bit of muscle of their own. They announced that as of November 15th, Total Vacations will be available on Sirev and the major GDS. With such a broad range of offerings, the Softvoyage hook up will make it easier for agents to sell the product.
A sizzling new destination Total announced is the Canary Islands, available year-round. Calling itself a mini-continent, the Canary Islands offer beach pleasures surrounded by European culture. According to the Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Canary Islands, Yolanda Perdomo Aparicio, “untouched beaches, calm water, and a sense of security create a unique vacation experience.”
Total Vacations is also coming back full steam with Mexico – offering a free culinary experience with all Mexico Off The Beaten Path cities such as Morelia, Oaxaca, Campeche and Cancun.
As a family run operation, Dave and Tammy Cecco take pride in offering unique destinations and niche properties agents may not be able to source on their own. Montserrat, Martinique, the Grenadines, Guadeloupe, Bonaire, Anguilla are just some of this year’s FIT line up. With an across the board 15% commission, you could feel the room warming up to the idea.
