Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) Canada welcomed Athlone Travel of Victoria, B.C. into its Associate program on September 1st. The CWT Associate program offers independently owned, local travel agencies like Athlone Travel the opportunity to partner with CWT. Acceptance into the program is based on local market position.

Athlone Travel and its team of more than 20 travel professionals have been part of the Victoria community since 1986. Elizabeth Smith, President, and partners Jane Purdie and Loraine Curtis, are looking forward to aligning with CWT and the additional resources it affords to their clients.

“As the travel industry has changed over the past several years, we have been looking for the right opportunity to become part of something bigger than ourselves, and CWT’s globally recognized brand is a great fit,” Smith said. “Our management team has been consistently impressed with the quality and professionalism of CWT’s people throughout this process and we’re excited to work closely together going forward.”
