With the winter sun seeking season just around the corner, WestJet has lined up a series of new seasonal routes for chilly Canadians across the country.
From Quebec City
The Calgary based carrier will launch two new seasonal non-stop services from Quebec City to Cancun and to Fort Lauderdale. The Cancun route kicks off December 11th and will operate Saturdays through April 30th. The Fort Lauderdale flights will begin December 12th each Sunday until April 24th.
From Ottawa
WestJet has also announced new seasonal non-stop service between Ottawa and Las Vegas. Starting December 9th with twice weekly flights until April 28th guests from Ottawa and its surrounding area will be able to fly non-stop to Las Vegas twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays through April 28th.
In addition to this new route, WestJet will also increase the frequency of flights from Ottawa to Cancun, Punta Cana, Montego Bay and Fort Lauderdale for the winter season.
From Saskatoon and Regina
WestJet will launch new non-stop seasonal service this winter between Saskatoon and Phoenix and between Regina and Phoenix. From December 17th through April 29th non-stop flights between Saskatoon and Phoenix will operate weekly on Fridays. And, from December 18,th until April 30th WestJet will offer once weekly Saturday non-stops from Regina to Phoenix.
From Edmonton
Non-stop season weekly Edmonton - Orlando flights will operate starting December 18th every Saturday through April 20th. "The addition of weekly non-stop service to Orlando further solidifies WestJet as the carrier offering the most non-stop destinations from the Edmonton International Airport," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Planning. "From Maui to Montego Bay, WestJet is flying Edmontonians to the destinations that they want to visit."
In addition to Orlando, WestJet also operates non-stop service from Edmonton to many sun destinations on a seasonal or year-round basis, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Palm Springs, Maui, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Montego Bay.
Introductory rates on all of WestJet's new seasonal services are available until August 25th for travel by February 8th.
