Cruise Professionals On Condé Nast Top Agent List For 11th Straight Year

Running for 11 years now, the Condé Nast Traveler List of the World’s 135 Top Travel Specialists is a prestigious place to be. It’s also a familiar place to be for Canada’s own The Cruise Professionals, which has once again secured a spot – for the 11th straight year.

The list is chosen by Wendy Perrin, consumer news editor and columnist for the magazine, who picks the travel specialists that she says offer the best blend of expertise, access, and good value. Each year, hundreds of new applicants are evaluated for the list and undergo a rigorous screening process.

“Expert advice and impeccable customer service has won us this accolade, however the recognition from Condé Nast is the result of the extras we negotiate and the excursions we arrange for our travellers,” says The Cruise Professionals CEO Mary Jean Tully. “We’re on an incredible 11 year winning streak.”

Condé Nast says that more than 10,000 travel agents and tour operators “have tried to break onto this list” since its inception. “Getting on to this group is statistically speaking, tougher than getting into Harvard. Staying on it is tougher still: it requires not only an absence of valid reader complaints but also positive evaluations from both readers and editors."

The Cruise Professionals is now owned by Travelzest, which bought the company from Tully in 2008 for $13-million.

“We are very excited and proud of The Cruise Professionals team winning this award for the 11th year,” said TravelZest CEO Jonathan Carroll in a statement. “The dedication to providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to our customer is a cornerstone of The Cruise Professionals and the Travelzest Group as a whole.”
