Celebrity Cruises has announced they will raise their daily gratuities in JUL, marking the second increase in less than a year, reports Cruise Radio.
The new rates will apply to voyages departing on or after 11JUL, 2023. Inside, oceanview and veranda staterooms will have a gratuity rate of USD $18 per person, per day, while Concierge Class and AquaClass accommodations will be charged $18.50. Guests staying in The Retreat will pay $23. Prior to the increase, rates were $17.50, $18, and $21, respectively.
Celebrity’s gratuity raise follows similar actions by Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Carnival Cruise Line. Guests have the option to adjust gratuities.
