Lynx Air has announced plans to expand its U.S. network this fall.
The airline will offer service from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), effective 24AUG and 12OCT, respectively. Starting 31AUG, Lynx will also add service from Montréal Pierre Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
The fares for these routes start from CAD $129 one way, inclusive of taxes.
In addition, the airline has initiated a temporary seat sale, providing up to 25 per cent off on all base fares to and from the United States using the promo code FLYUSA. The sale will remain active until 11:59 PM EDT on 6JUL, 2023.
Merren McArthur, CEO of Lynx, said, "We understand that Canadians enjoy travelling to sun destinations during the fall season. We are excited to provide an affordable option connecting Eastern Canada to three highly popular destinations in the Western United States. Lynx Air is the sole Ultra Low-Cost Carrier serving these routes, and we are pleased to make these destinations more accessible to travellers from the Toronto and Montréal regions.
As Open Jaw reported, Lynx began operating flights to the U.S. earlier this year, serving routes from Calgary to Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, as well as from Toronto to Orlando.
