Air France Adds More Canadian Flights This Winter

Air France's Airbus A220-300

Air France is expanding its North American service for the winter season of 2023-2024, offering more options for Canadian travellers.

The airline plans to operate up to 212 weekly flights, serving 21 destinations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Air France will operate flights to four Canadian destinations throughout the winter season: Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa.

The non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Ottawa, introduced on 27JUN as Open Jaw reported, will continue with five weekly flights. The schedule for this route will include flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The flights will be operated using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with 279 seats.

Air France will also increase its flight frequencies from Montreal and Vancouver, with up to 21 and five flights per week, respectively, compared to 17 and three flights last winter. Starting 02DEC, Air France will resume its winter service between Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Montreal, operating two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays using an Airbus A320.

KLM, a member airline of the Air France-KLM Group, will also enhance its North American service, connecting its Amsterdam-Schiphol hub with 19 destinations, including Montreal and Toronto.

Both Air France and KLM provide shuttle bus services within Canada, making it easier for travellers to connect between airports. Air France operates shuttle buses between YUL, YQB, and YOW, while KLM offers shuttle buses between YUL and YOW.

Detailed flight times, days and fares can be found on Air France and KLM websites.
