In addition to traditional sales and marketing channels, MSC Cruises has announced it is expanding its international presence through sports sponsorships, reports Cruise Industry News.
Sponsorships include Formula 1 racing, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea in soccer, and the New York Knicks in basketball. MSC Cruises’ CEO said the sponsorships give the company “a high and positive visibility across the globe and in key markets.”
MSC Cruises will also showcase its new environmentally sustainable cruise ship, Euribia, this summer. The line aims for net zero-emissions across its entire fleet by 2050, with a 40 per cent carbon intensity reduction target by 2030.
