Trip.com Unveils AI Travel Assistant Focused on Personalization

Travel service provider Trip.com has introduced TripGenie, an AI travel assistant incorporated into its mobile app. Utilizing large language technologies, TripGenie offers “personalized and intuitive” travel solutions that cater to all aspects of the travel planning and booking process, reports PhocusWire.

According to the company, TripGenie's capabilities go beyond traditional booking functions. For example, when users inquire about planning a trip to a specific destination, TripGenie offers detailed recommendations for tourist spots and shopping destinations, along with booking links and images, all through a user-friendly, conversational interface.

TripGenie’s upcoming upgrades include a virtual tour guide feature.
