I remember the great plumes of sweet smoke burning hash made. I, for one, had a little trouble navigating, I can tell you that. But to burn enough of the stuff to ground most of the continent is a bit over the top, cheries. Apparently it will be days before the hash cloud over Europe dissipates.
What are they doing over there? Is it some of kind of marijuana party protest? Don't we have enough to deal with when hurricanes and storms and terrorists ground our planes? I'm not normally one to point the finger, but it's a little irresponsible.
Although this could explain why European financial types are so enamoured with the risky travel biz this week. You gotta be high as a kite to hand over a $1 billion just like that - even if it is to TCook. Between mouthfuls of Oreos and pepperoni pizza, Paul Hollingworth, TCook's chief money guy said: "We are delighted with the strong support for this bond issue from a wide group of institutional investors." Heh, don't bogart that joint Pauly -- pass it over to me.
