Disney Renames Genting’s Previous Global Dream to Disney Adventure

Disney Cruise Line has renamed the former Global Dream to Disney Adventure, set to operate in Asia in 2025, reports Cruise Industry News.

Originally intended for Genting’s Dream Cruises, Disney purchased the half-completed ship after Genting's 2022 collapse. The vessel can host around 6,000 guests and will operate from Singapore’s Marina Bay.

By 2025, Disney's fleet will include eight ships, with the Adventure joining Disney Treasure (2024), an unnamed ship (2025), and existing vessels - Wish, Fantasy, Dream, Wonder, and Magic. The Adventure is notable for its large capacity of 6,000 passengers compared to other ships in the fleet.
