The CanJet 737-800

Nolitours and Transat Holidays officially welcomed the launch of their long term flying partnership with CanJet with a champagne reception for their trade partners at YYZ’s Transat hangar. Taking centre stage was a shiny yellow CanJet 737-800 – one of fourteen 189-seaters Nolitours and Transat Holidays are chartering this season to operate from their Canadian gateways to about 20 southern sun spots.

Transat entered into a 5 year flying agreement with CanJet last year following the termination of their charter deal with WestJet.

Toasting the new partnership Nancy Jackson, Commercial Director Ontario & Atlantic Canada for Nolitours & Transat Holidays, said she and her team wanted to provide their agent partners the opportunity to get up close and personal with CanJet’s 737 product. “We want to help agents sell the CanJet air product with confidence,†said Jackson. Guests took the opportunity to board the aircraft and poke about the cockpit, seating area and galley and to interact with the CanJet staff on hand.

Air Transat had recently announced some of their own onboard service enhancements on sun destination flights including a welcome aboard glass of champagne, a more complete meal tray with dessert and complimentary glass of wine. They will be co-ordinating their onboard offering  with their new partner.

Cheers to flying in style.
