Stéphanie Bishop, Managing Director for the Globus family of brands in Canada, has announced that internationally-acclaimed soprano Measha Brueggergosman will be the official godmother for Avalon Waterways' newest ship, the Felicity.
The opera singer, concert and recording artist, who started studying voice at the age of 7 in her home province of New Brunswick, has won many awards, including the 2008 Juno Award for Classical Album of the Year. She has been heard on many of the world's premier stages from Toronto to Paris and New York to Vienna. The San Francisco Chronicle has called the 32 year old performer 'a singer of rare gifts and artistic intensity'
