WestJet has launched its new, seasonal non-stop service between Vancouver and Lihue/Kauai, Hawaii. The inaugural flight departed Vancouver International Airport at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

"At WestJet, we just can't get enough of the Hawaiian Islands; the traditions, the locals, the sun, sand and surf," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Strategy and Planning. "So it's tremendously exciting that today marks the start of our winter service to Lihue on the island of Kauai. And as the only airline in Canada to provide service to all four islands, the aloha spirit is within easy reach for our Canadian travellers."

WestJet will fly between Vancouver and Lihue/Kauai twice per week from now until May 1, 2010.

Following are the schedule details of WestJet's new service.
