Club Med has reported a record-breaking first half of 2023, with a 32% increase in business volume compared to the same period last year, reports Travel Weekly UK.
Visitor numbers to its resorts also surged, with a 28% rise from the first half of 2022. Driving these numbers were substantial recoveries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, especially with mountain resorts in the winter season.
Additionally, Club Med announced the establishment of its first South African resort, Club Med Tinley, due to open in 2026. This new resort in KwaZulu-Natal will emphasize local art, culture, and offer safari excursions.
