ACTA National & Quebec District Council Finding Common Ground
J'ai mon voyage

The efforts of Robert Tucotte, President of the ACTA Quebec District council, to retain a measure of control over the allocation of funds collected in Quebec seem to have been successful.

ACTA National President and COO, David McCaig, and Director of Operations, Heather Craig-Peddie recently met with the Quebec group to discuss the creation of a dedicated budget for ACTA Quebec projects.

During the meeting, McCaig expressed his support for Quebec based initiatives and the notion of allocating dollars representative of the region's overall membership. The Quebec Council outlined a slate of actions dedicated to the specific concerns of their member agencies throughout 2010. Among the planned activities is a consumer mass media campaign to promote the value of ACTA member agencies. The meeting also provided the opportunity to discuss several industry issues of concern to members of ACTA Quebec.
