WestJet has announced it will begin seasonal non-stop service from Toronto to Bermuda, effective May 2010.

"Bermuda is yet one more jewel in WestJet's Atlantic and Caribbean crown," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Strategy and Planning. "We look forward to bringing Canadians to the home of pink sand beaches, gorgeous turquoise waters and world-class golf. For Bermudians, we are proud to offer non-stop service directly to friends and family in Toronto and throughout WestJet's 30-city Canadian network."

Recently voted as the number one island in the Atlantic and Caribbean region by the prestigious Condé Nast magazine, Bermuda is the fourteenth Atlantic/Caribbean destination for WestJet, which also provides Canadians with non-stop service to Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Cuba, and the Turks and Caicos.
